A family table, brought to North Jersey
Origin Mediterranean Grill & Lounge is a family-owned Turkish kitchen in North Haledon. The name is new. The hospitality, the recipes, and the people are the same.

Our food comes from the Turkish table: lamb slow-roasted until it falls apart, kebabs hand-minced and grilled over charcoal, mezze prepared fresh every day, and desserts soaked in syrup.
We cook the way our family always has, with care, generosity, and an open flame. Nothing shortcut, nothing generic.
A new chapter
From High Mountain to Origin
For years we served this community as High Mountain Mediterranean. Origin is the next chapter, a fuller expression of who we are and what we love to share.
That means everything you already loved, plus BYOB with no corkage fee, a covered open-air garden lounge for the evenings, and doors open late, seven days a week.
